Position Summary

The position holder will be assigned to a production line and will be responsible for carrying out the steps required for product processing. They must ensure the efficiency of their work in order to maximize production time. In addition to complying with safety and sanitation rules, they must pay close attention to the quality of the products being manufactured.

Starting wage of $23.56/hour, increasing up to $32.02/hour depending on experience, plus shift premiums (Evening: +$0.50/hour, Night: +$1.00/hour)

Responsibilities

  • Weigh the necessary ingredients according to the recipe being produced;
  • Add and handle ingredients according to the specified order;
  • Adjust the various equipment required for product processing;
  • Ensure product traceability by recording the lot numbers of ingredients used;
  • Perform inspection rounds as required by specifications to verify product quality;
  • Keep the work environment clean by applying the organization’s established standards;
  • Inform the team leader of any issues or potential improvements to processes.

Requirements

  • Able to work efficiently, physically, and while standing;
  • Manages priorities and multiple tasks effectively;
  • Comfortable with computerized technologies — including touchscreens;
  • Able to make quick decisions, even under pressure;
  • Brings solutions when facing a problem;
  • Possesses the following assets:
    • Work experience in a comparable environment;
    • Knowledge of French or another language such as English or Spanish.
